Time for crab.

098: Krabby

Krabby's a pretty basic Pokemon, another one that is a mere Pokemonification of a classic animal, rather than being based on anything specific. But granting, for the time, Krabby little bit of its own charm. I like it a little more than other "mostly just an animal" kind of Pokemon because it still has the Pokemon secret ingredient that makes identifiable as a Pokemon and not just because it was one of the originals.

099: Kingler

Kingler here must be nice if you already liked Krabby, because it's little more than a bigger, more monstrous Krabby. And as an added bonus, it picks up the crab stereotype of having one claw bigger than the other. As the name suggests, it may be at least somewhat king crab inspired, with it being orange and spiny, with the spines on its head forming a "crown." While it could've gone with being even spikier or having longer legs to give it said crab's weird proportions, I do love that monstrous underbite it has. While I overall don't have a ton to say about these two, they're nice in spite of how simple they are in concept.
