Entry 024: Archfiend Mirror

This creature is one that could've been neater with better execution. The lizard-esque monster itself is cool-looking, with a sleek visage and odd, jagged skin. I also appreciate what look to be weird insectoid legs on it, plus having some non-functioning wings in a weird place. The thing also holds a mirror, and hmmm. I dunno, looks a little out of place to me. The "lore" on the card doesn't really justify it either, just saying it hypnotizes foes into attacking the wrong target, which isn't an actual effect it has, so whoops. I just wish the mirror was a bit more of an integrated feature into the design, like having its body more neatly wrap around it, rather than just clutching it and having its wings around it. Cool creature, just wish its accessory felt like a better fit.
