Entry 031: Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie

We were on the verge of Blue-Eyes White Dragon. We were this close!

The absurdity of this one is really funny to me. This is a monster that consists of:

A floating skull
Bat wings
A giant eyeball within its mouth
A golden eyepatch over one of its empty eye sockets
Floating hands, Andross style

It almost feels like this monster was made up with randomly selected nouns and adjectives, which come to think of it, sounds like a fun way to do monster design, tbh. Like, sure! That's definitely a list of ingredients that has made a creature!

As a design though, it's SOMEHOW not all over the place??? The only element that looks outright out of place is the gold eyepatch, but even then you can just say that's a signifier of its cycloptic nature. It's otherwise a really campy but still creative monster design that I can certainly say I've never seen anything else like it.
