238: Smoochum
One last round of Baby Pokemon, and Smoochum here is perhaps marginally better than Jynx was, at least from a basis. It helps that it's notably more detached from Jynx's more problematic aspects. Smoochum's cute demeanor and its body being a little less blatantly clothes-like helps too, so it's at least become a fairly passable design.
Personal Score: 6/10
Elekid is easily the best baby Pokemon of the generation. We think the whole idea of giving these three new baby forms is that with breeding now being a premier feature, it's a little awkward to see what looks like a fully grown Electabuzz coming fresh out of an egg, so they get new babies to be a much more realistic transition of age.
Elekid is cute though! We think the plug-like horn it has on its head are cute, and the cartoonishly oversized arms are fun. And hey, now the yellow and black stripe pattern looks like bumblebee jammies! Still could do without the obvious lightning bolt symbol on its chest, though.
Personal Score: 7.5/10
240: Magby
And Magby's simply adorable too. In a way we feel less strongly about, but it has a certain charm to it. The overly lumpy head, while fitting for a baby Magmar, just feels like it looks a little too much like a goofy haircut, or at least it could've been more forward and on its face like Magmar's head lumps. Either way, neat!
