370: Luvdisc

Here is one of the simply most tragic Pokemon out there, a little heart-shaped discus fish that has caught the ire, (Luvdiscourse, if you will) if not just outright mockery of most any Pokemon out there for having such a "lazy" design and being one of the weakest fully evolved Pokemon in the game, even to this day. And even its GIMMICK isn't that cracked up to anything. In the games, there's a resource called Heart Scales, most used for move relearning, and Luvdisc are found holding said Heart Scales. It's a Pokemon made to be stolen from!

And such a weird amount of abuse just feels so unworthy for a Pokemon like Luvdisc. We're not exactly super invested in the state of the thing; its design isn't THAT spectacular, it's just a heart-shaped discus fish. Decidedly more disc than fish, which is kinda funny. But man, all this mean attitude directed towards it just feels so unnecessary! Luvdisc is fine! Not amazing in any regard, really, but fine.
