967: Cyclizar

Going from a car engine to a motorbike! Cyclizar is a fun concept for a Pokemon - a big mount-sized lizard that looks like a bicycle! It combines a handful of aspects of different lizards; from being a huge reptile like a monitor lizard or komodo dragon to having a dewlap look like its front wheel. The tail curls up to form the back wheel! neat!

It also has little pads on its feet like geckos do, but its nonetheless a fun little detail for a lizard whose primary feature is how it gallops around! Another neat thing is that casque it has on its head. It's an anatomical feature taken off of a helmeted lizard, but the way they rendered it is pretty cool. They managed to get it to both resemble the front end of a motorbike, AND look like a biking helmet! It's just cool how Cyclizar has become the biggest mish-mash of different lizards to become the ultimate lizard Pokemon.

It's also a peculiar Pokemon as far as the plot goes. Not because Cyclizar itself is all that plot important, but it DOES bear a strange resemblance to the two box legendaries, doesn't it?
