Let's Talk About Yu-Gi-Oh! - Hitodenchak

Entry 019: Hitodenchak Double Attack

"Hitdo- Hitoden-- Hitodenchii-- Hitonn-- Hit--"
"Okay, okay, don't hurt yourself."

Here's a neat one! This starfish with an impossible name and odd bristles around its "mouth" act like a cross between a sea star and an anemone! This sea star is technically upside-down, with its mouth in the correct place directly in the middle of its radial body. Combining a sea star with an anemone is pretty brilliant I must say. Because stinging tentacles around a sea star's mouth WOULD be one of those things that mother nature COULD come up with. It's also cool because I could also see those tentacles dragging captured prey into its mouth, which is how irl sea stars drag prey into their mouths! With all the tentacles on their underside! This thing is so simple, but is a HELLA cool chimera! Echimeraderm?

I even like its color scheme, with it being bright colors, which in animal tends to mean "back off, I'm poisonous", which is fair for this acid-spewing sea star. Maybe I just have Metroid on the brain lately but it feels like the kinda alien life that's just barely familiar enough to show up in Maridia or something.

Green is the new "Bluish"

And if you prefer your sea stars with some more sensible, toned-down colors, Armored Starfish is here for ya!

Personal Score: 9/10
