Shrimpy shrimpy shrimpyyyy

This little child monster looks like a traditional mer-creature at first, just with their tail wrapped around them. But that tail, strangely enough, kind of looks more like a shrimp's than a fish! That's already an interesting twist for a mer-creature, but then you play the 3D games and they depict the monster as literally just the head and arm of a child that has a weird shrimp tail for a body. That's really neat, in a creepy, surreal folklore monster kind of way!
