399: Bidoof

Can you believe this little guy used to be one of the most despised Pokemon out there? Oh, how fandom attitudes change. Bidoof though is cute enough as it is, with it simply being a cartoon beaver. Usual early-game rodent fare. Nothing wild one way or the other, but Bidoof's got a funny disposition to it.

We prefer the term "HM Friend"

400: Bibarel

Bibarel is a little less popular than its younger brother these days, but it still finds fans here and there. We are in the camp of feeling like it's not as adorable as Bidoof is. The most interesting thing about it is that this is the first time since Girafarig that Normal type had been given another type that isn't Flying. Which kinda feels appropriate for an amphibious mammal.
